What’s Trending? Dingdong Defends Marian from a Malicious News Article

Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera

A knight in shining armor to the rescue!

Dingdong Dantes defends her wife, Marian Rivera from a malicious write-up of Ronnie Carrasco.

He shared that the news article which alleged that Rivera had offended her co-workers reached him and decided to have his own investigation.

On his verified Facebook account, Dingdong posted an open letter addressed to the columnist.

I say malicious because your statements have not been proven by any reliable source. Dingdong wrote.

Read his whole letter below:

The Primetime King sought confirmation from Nieva Sabit, the executive producer of Marian’s teleserye.”

Sabit, who first worked with Rivera in the hit “Marimar” in 2007, testified to her true personality.

“I can confidently attest that she has remained professional, passionate, and always willing to share her creative inputs to her shows. She has always been gracious and well-loved in the set. With Super Ma’am, I’ve witnessed how she would willingly perform even the most dangerous stunts and execute each one to the best that she can. And despite the demands of being a mother, she is always willing to adjust to unavoidable production constraints,” Dingdong quoted Sabit as saying.

The actor emphasized that if there would be anyone credible enough to give an opinion about Rivera’s relationship with her co-workers that would be the show’s EP herself.

Aside from Sabit, Marian’s co-workers expressed their reaction taking the side of the actress.

Kahit papalit palit sya between Super Maam at Minerva, wala sya reklamo. Whoever the source is, sana masaya ka sa ginagawa mo. Haaaaaay…. #TheCastOfSuperMaamLovesMarianRivera

Isang Malaking KASINUNGALINGAN. Sobrang down to earth, kalog at TOTOONG TAO. MALIIT man Or MALAKING artista same ang treatment ni ate Yan.

According to PeP.Ph, the 32-year-old artist was not aware of the letter written by his husband. In fact, they were the ones who send the letter to the actress.

The Prime Queen kept on crying after reading the content and said, “Mahal na mahal ko ang pamilya namin.
